This establishment can be found at the following address: United States, Red Wing, MN 55066, 1920 Old W Main St. We all agreed it was a very pleasant experience and that we will return. What is the address of Wisteria Twig Cafe & Tea Room? Rita, the owner came to our table and visited with us as we lingered over the last cup of tea. It makes a very attractive presentation that way, rather than mixing the custard into the berries. I have hosted many Afternoon Teas and the only thing I would have done differently would be to place the fresh berries on top of a light vanilla custard. Most of us had to take some of the cake and bar home. Dessert course: 3 desserts - all quite good. Third course: a tray with 3 different tasty tea sandwiches.

The 3rd course was the traditional finger sandwiches and there wasn’t a single one I wouldn’t want to eat again. near trees will help minimize toxicity, but care should be taken to keep leaves, twigs, branches, and nuts out of the bed. Also, the cream is some of the best I’ve had during a tea service. Started with fresh fruit, followed by a huge scone – and they didn’t skimp on the amount of lemon curd or clotted cream. The owner, Rita, came over and apologized for the wait and the craziness – apparently the city wide “garage sale” had quite a few people coming through that she wasn’t expecting. Once we sat down it did take some time for a server to take our tea order and it was clear that they were sadly understaffed for the constant crowd of people they had. who greeted us was clearly a little frazzled as she exclaimed, “Your table isn’t ready yet!” We said no problem, we know we’re early.

We had a reservation for the tea service (only available at 2:30, M-Sat) and we arrived a little early. SO glad I did! The space is adorable and comfortable. I stumbled upon this one when searching TA for brunch spots in Red Wing. I am simply a Social Worker who feels compelled to support a local business that is giving a meal to our children with nothing expected in return. For the record, I have no connection or relationship to the owner. If you give Wisteria Twig a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed. The food is fresh and local! Let’s all do our part to keep our local treasures going during this difficult time! Along with phenomenal salads, grilled paninis, wraps, and sandwiches in addition to excellent soups daily.
